ARVI - DEBUT ALBUM - THE LAW

ARVI is a side project of Matthew Mole (part of UK band Scanners). It was written over many years and recorded in a couple of weeks in Somerset and in London. The music is singer-songwriter style with the acoustic guitar and piano being the main instruments. The tracks vary from the stripped down introspection of 'Now it's gone' and 'anything you want' to the more epic 'these straight edges' and 'Halo'.

The name ARVI comes from the Estonian side of his family, as the name Matthew Mole is already being used by a South African singer-songwriter - two would just be confusing...

The first track on the album - 'Maia's magic hat' was song of the week on BBC introducing (Kent) at the end of last year.

ARVI has played full band and Acoustic shows in London but has now relocated to Margate - along with most of Hackney. He is in the process of putting together some kind of band to do some shows.
